Transformational Breath®

Transformational Breath® is a self-empowering integrative tool that has been used by and benefitted hundreds of thousands of people in over 50 countries around the world for more than four decades. It is a conscious breathing practice, which means breathing with awareness, intention and attention to your inner experience, in the present moment.

The technique is gentle and simple, yet powerful, helping people to open up the full potential of their breathing system for better physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. It uses a full, relaxed, circular breathing pattern, in which the breather intentionally connects the inhale with the exhale, without any pauses. This is a natural, safe and easy-to-learn way of breathing that has many benefits, including more energy, improved immune response and increased emotional resilience and ability to deal with stress.

Transformational Breath® correlates a person’s current breathing pattern with blockages in their body and mind. Having identified the relationship between restrictions in the flow of breath and their emotional issues, the aim is to release these blockages through opening the breath, thereby creating permanent transformation in the person’s energy and experience of life.

What I offer

I am currently offering online one-to-one Transformational Breath® sessions via Zoom. Each appointment lasts for 90 minutes and includes:

  • initial coaching to identify any issues you might be facing and to help you set an intention for your session

  • an analysis of your breathing pattern

  • around 45 minutes of Transformational Breath®

  • an opportunity to share and integrate the experience, if desired

  • a 10 minute follow-up call one or two days later

During the Transformational Breath® part of the session, you will be attended to according to your individual needs and will be gently guided to self-facilitate. I have taken additional training focusing specifically on offering this work online and so far I've been amazed at how confident I've felt in being able to hold a safe online space as a facilitator. The feedback from clients is that the sessions have been deep and powerful and they have felt fully supported throughout.

It's a modified version of the technique, which empowers the client to take on more responsibility for their experience through their own (guided) touch, thereby learning how to support themselves in their own breathwork practice.
